MKG04: Mekong Delta 3 Days/2 Nights

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long - Can Tho (L)
7:30am – Depart from your hotel to travel to Vinh Long. There, you’ll cruise on the Mekong River, visit Cai Be floating market, fruit orchards, a traditional family-run brick kiln, and drop in to look at some traditional cottage industries - a workshop making the huge coffins unique to the Mekong is particularly interesting. Take a bike and ride around a small island to experience daily life of local people. You’ll then drive further into the Mekong Delta to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 2: Can Tho - Thot Not - Chau Doc (B/L)
The day begins with boarding a boat to cruise to Cai Rang floating markets on the Mekong Delta – both the journey and the market provide insights into the Mekong rural lifestyle. Walk around a village, visit a rice husking mill. We then travel by land to Thot Not to visit Bang Lang Bird Sanctuary (Stork Garden) or Crocodile Farm. On arrival in Chau Doc, climd the Sam Mountain to enjoy the breath-taking view and the sunset from its top. Overnight in Chau Doc.

Day 3: Chau Doc - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
After breakfast, you will board a small sailing boat to visit floating houses farming Basa fish, Cham ethnic minority villages and a Muslim mosque Have lunch at a local restaurant before going back to Ho Chi Minh City. Tour ends at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City at 17:30.
